A residence where people share space, food, stuff, housework, and sometimes money. Houses are based around consciously shared values. Mutual support of life in the domestic realm results in stronger individuals and stronger communities.
About the Vancouver Collective House Network: A loose network of people who live in community, or who are interested in living in community. Members host quarterly gatherings and potlucks, and occasionally organize workshops and discussions.
The Network serves to connect members, to affirm common values, and to learn from experience within the community. The Network hopes to demonstrate to others that Collective Living is achievable and rewarding.
Monthly meeting times are posted to the vancollectivehousenetwork list-serve, and all are welcome to attend and contribute to shaping the vision and actions of the Network.
